how do i price match at best buy?

ive never done price matching at a store before, how do it at best buy? do i have to show the weekly ad from circuit city?

i'm trying to price match the itunes cards from circuit city since the $25 cards are on sale for $20, i like to download music videos now since no one plays darn videos anymore =[. i got about $15 on reward zone certificates so im thinking of just loading.

just take the flyer up to the service desk along with the product you wanna buy. they will prob give you a bs excuse as to why you can't but there is no harm in trying.

they usually dont give me any b.s. i even price matched an item that they had out early and i still got the price match with no questions asked

I've never had a problem with them price matching, all you do is bring the ad with you. Once in a blue moon they might call the store to make sure they have it in stock, I've had that happen a couple of times, but it's rare.

Yes I would show them the ad from CC. That's what I do for blu-rays. And, you have to do that at the customer service desk, not the regular register?

even is you purchased the item, you have like 15 days i think to bring in the ad and the receipt with the item you purchased. they give you back the difference plus 10% more i think. something like that.

ALWAYS go to a manager to avoid waiting in line. Plus, these are the only people that can actually help you when you want to price match vanns.com or another retailer like that.

Best Buy prides itself on hiring the worst f'ng workers and most hapless managers possible, so always go direct to the dummies they call "managers"

I've done 99.9% of my PM at the regular registers, which can take some time if they cannot dig up a manager. It would probably be better on the people in line behind you if you did go to the customer service desk.
