Default Problems with audio and Video signal.

Hey guys, I recently updated the firmware on my BH 200 LG Super Blu DVD player. It's a combo player. Anyway, after I updated it with the latest firmware, I could not receive a video or audio signal from my Blu-Rays and HD DVDs. I would get a signal for a split second, then I would lose it right away.

I had to revert to the previous firmware to watch my movies. Anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be, if there is even a problem?

I have it hooked up via monster HDMI cable. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a HDMI handshake issue.
You can verify this by using the component outputs and see if the picture drops out there also. (I bet it doesn't).

Any reason you have to upgrade to the newer firmware? (bigger problem that needs fixing?)

I was upgrading because of the new 7.1 DTS and other audio features. Similair to the PS3. Also, regular DVDs played just fine.
