Hi,
Currently, I'm watching Blu-ray on my projector and when I go to college next semester, I want to get a TV for my room, but I want to know if getting a 720p TV will not look good with Blu-ray. I would like to get a 1080p, but they are quite pricey. So, does anyone know if Blu-ray looks bad on 720p? Thanks. |

No Blu-ray will not look bad on 720p. In fact it will still look spectacular. Many members here are still running their main setups in 720p including me (also in college). Granted, on a projector you will see a difference from 720p to 1080p since it is such a large screen, but for a college kid it's definitely still the cat's pajamas.

Panasonic 32" 720P $800 Panasonic 32" 720P 120Hz (this is the one I have, I love it) MSRP is $1300 but thats in canada, and its discontinued (last year's model) so you can probably find it way cheaper (my store has it for $999) |
