Hd Receiver vs. Satelite Provider HD Receiver

I wish I could change the title to indicate this. Something like, HDTV for green dummies or something like that.

I will be having my Dish Network HD Receiver installed next week to partner with my new Samsung 37 Inch 1080p LCD.

My question is this:

After I get a BD Player, will I ALSO need to change out my current Marantz 5.1 Receiver to an HD in order to get the HD quality audio?

OR, since my tv is already running thru my Marantz receiver to my speaker system, will that be HD quality?
