Default Is Blu-ray the definite future of home entertainment?

I've been collecting a good amount of Blu-ray disc for awhile , without a player even (now that i've sold my samsung and waiting for panasonic bd-50), I have over 90, and I've got several on pre-order, i am thankful I never had a big DVD collection when Blu-ray came out, but if I buy all my favorite movies each week when new or catalog titles are released and get a huge collection, and then some new Home entertainment comes out that's is supposed to be better than Blu-ray and then Blu-ray get's left in dust and I have to start selling my BD's. Im not saying anything can be better than Blu , I just dont know ,that's why i ask. Is Blu-ray the definate future of Home Entertainment?
