Default What do you think Kojima should do after MGS4? (maybe SPOILERICIOUS)

In keeping with the MGS4 threads, I'm curious to see what people who've finished the game think Kojima should do now since it seems he's planning on doing another Metal Gear (again) (after all) (lol).

Personally, I think MGS4 is a fitting end to an icon - Solid Snake, as if you didn't know, - so if Kojima's going to do more he should come up with a new main character. And I think that's where Kojima's greatest challenge would be - coming up with a new character as iconic as Snake. I'd really like to see what his genius will come up with. Will it be another legend like Solid Snake or another critical failure like MGS2 Raiden?

And if he does do another game with a different lead then he should drop the Solid from the Metal Gear name since it's not Solid Snake anymore. It would signify a different series.

Of course, knowing how imaginative Kojima can be I wouldn't be surprised if he takes a page from anime and just reboots the whole continuity and brings Snake back lol.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing what Kojima can do to come up with a great FEMALE lead character. With all the MGS hotties he's come up with like Sniper Wolf, Eva, Laughing Octopus, and Teliko Friedman am I the only one who would like to see what a KojiPro game would be like with a female lead character?

Oh I think hes going to create a Metal Gear movie. Remember the end of MGS4 after the credits how Octagon said that he was going to document everything? I think that alluded to a movie.

EDIT: I could of added more to my post, but I think that would of given too much away. If you have beaten the game then I don't need to explain more.

I think he needs to return Metal Gear to it's glory days and remake MGS1 with the same graphics and gameplay mechanics as MGS4.

[Show spoiler]Snake said he was going to live out his remaining days. You know enjoy the time he has left/ no fighting. So the movie is going to be about Old Snake, Otacon and Sunny drinking Ice Teas (and eating eggs) on the beach?

Sure thats what he wants to do, but doesn't mean that the villians of the game will let him.

Even if its just what you stated, you'd still watch that movie :P

Maybe he means remakes for the original 8-bit Metal Gear games.

Anyway, I got the Japanese LE MGS4, and it comes with a bonus Blu-ray with a fairly long making-of and behind the scenes documentary on it. Kojima basically says that MGS4 and the retirement of Snake parallels himself and his retirement from the Metal Gear franchise. The overall theme of MGS4 was for Snake to pass on the torch to a younger generation - and Kojima intends to do the same for future MG games. He'll continue to watch over the franchise in the role of producer though. Of course, that is if he can keep himself from jumping back into the director's seat again lol.

[Show spoiler]He still does not have that long to live so they better hurry up. Not to mention he is still deteriorating.

I would like to see him do something fresh. As much as I would like to see remakes MG, MG2 and a proper remake of MGS, I think Kojima has had enough Metal Gear. Whatever he does at least we know he can unlock the PS3's power.

[Show spoiler] As long as they're on the beach with the MGS girls like Mei Ling and Laughing Octopus I'd still watch that movie lol

The most likely thing at the moment based on the rumors would seem to be that he'll do either a remake of Snatcher or a new ZOE game for now so it's likely we'll definitely see something different from him in the near future.

ZOE with the power of the PS3...OH MY GOD THAT WOULD ROCK!

After that is another story since he's dropped a lot of hints in interviews either with himself or Ryan Payton that he and the team are already looking at the next entry in the Metal Gear saga. What role he's going to have for that is the big question.
