Angry My Problem creating a good Home theatre

The more I read about Home Theatres and the more pics I admired, I decided to create my own...........................But its not possible to create anything near as good as the American theatres due to the HUGE EXPENSE in Europe compared to America. Let me show you:
Onkyo 606: America $400, Ireland €600 or $950
Blu-ray Movies: America $20, Ireland €40 or $63

So for just a receiver and 1 blu-ray, I would need to spend $1000

$950 would be really expensive for an Onkyo 606. It retails for $400 pounds in Britain. Would it be fully functional if you import it? I would suggest checking on Ebay to see if you can find a receiver and discs for cheaper. England has a really big hi-fi scene, so there's got to be a more cost-effective alternative somewhere.

That's a bummer.

I'd shop some of the great European brands that are out there, and not buy from the Asian market that is pushed on the U.S.
