Default Favre traded to...JETS!

Being reported on Yahoo and Fox Sports that the Packers just traded Brett Favre to the New York Jets. Not so sure how he is gonna like it there, the AFC is loaded with good teams and the Jets aren't very good to start with. I sure was hoping he would go to the Bears or Vikings but I knew they wouldn't trade him to their same division.

Good for him, I'm glad the Packers allowed him to be able to be traded and didn't hold him to his contract. Hopefully he enjoys his years there.

Good... maybe now the Packers can move on and forget that guy! Been a nightmare for them as a team. Hopefully they can concetrate on football now.

So he will go to the Jets, have a so so year, retire and no one will care this time.

What about Clemens and Pennington? Will Favre have to earn the starting position? This just does not make sense to me. Brett should have taken the $20M and gone fishin'.

I'm glad this damn soap opera is over, regardless of how it ended.

ESPN is saying Pennington will be released and Clemens will be the backup.

I knew he would go to the jets even though he can be a baby at times. Maybe he will kick the jets back into shape, lol. I am a patriots fan so it dont matter. We will always kick there a$$.

Pennington needs to go. He seems to always break or sprain something. Clemens did pretty well last year.

meh, a giants fan. We did very well though. It would have been awesome to have a huge winning streak and win the superbowl. But you cant win them all. We will see what happens this year. BTW: we live about an hour away from the giants stadium. I should be like a red sox fan and stick a patriots jersey in the cement LOL.

Sucks for Brett.

He could have had more success in the NFC.
