I KNOW. UGH!!!! I was coming here to see if anyone was talking about it. He's been my favorite player since I was a kid. I CAN'T believe it. I feel like someone died.

I'm glad his career ended on a nice, strong note. As a football fan, I say: He will be missed.

Thanks for the memories, Bret.

No it hasn't.

He's just playing his usual pay attention to me I'm an attention ***** games.

There is already a report that says he only quit because he felt the team didn't want him back.

UGh, don't remind me. I live in Milwaukee, WI, so this is all over the news. He did give Wisconsin a good image. Now what the hell do we have? He was the only thing keeping our image presentable.

I wonder what all the local Packer fans will wear now, unless they all just keep wearing their number 4 Packer jerseys.

Edit: Heh, an announcement just went out at work that we can have a "casual day" on Thursday, so long as we wear Green & Gold to honor the retired Brett Favre. I'm tellin' ya, this guy was the lifeblood to some people here.

Thank God. I am so sick of all the Brett Favre worship. Packer fans are insufferable and now without their savior they go back under that block of rotting cheese they all came out from under. Good riddens.

Sorry to see him go but like someone else already said, at least he went out on a high note.

Ah yes. I was a big Sanders fan myself. This one hurts much more though.

I do agree that he went out on a good note. To win a superbowl would be obviously the best, but that's really hard to do. He had an amazing season and gives us alot to remember. He will be missed greatly.

We'll just have to wait a few months to see if he really does. Alot of Football Analysts expect the "Legend" to change his mind.

I couldn't agree more. To quote the Joker, "I'm glad he's dead."
