New Onkyo 606 arrived today...yesterday, darnit! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, so I bought the 606 from Amazon. Sweet right! Well, I was tracking the delivery and forgot one "click" (where it actually takes you to the tracking page). It has been sitting by my back door next to the garage for over a day!!!! We don't use that door very often. Ok, so I unpack it, set it up. I connect the speakers, cable box next. My next step is my PS3...doh!!! Somehow in my excitement of finally getting a new receiver, I forgot that 1 HDMI in...1 HDMI out. I only have the one

Monoprice is delivering my cable Wednesday.

Just thought I'd share just in case you thought you were the only one who's ever done this...or just sharing that I'm the only one to do this.

Always order an extra cable. It doesn't seem justified at the time but man it sure makes a difference later. Every time I upgrade a part of my home theater I order one extra of common components:

HDMI Cables
Power Strip
6 ft Power Extenders

Besides when you order from monoprice its not that expensive is it.

that's classic...as someone else said in otherwords excitment can make you retarded!!! Rightfully so though...it is so much fun upgrading your systm. I upgraded my entire front soundstage last weekend and had a blast.

Going to pick up a Pioneer Elite 94THX tomorrow, and as I was planning what all to pick up, i to forgot to account for that HDMI out cable. Lucky that i caught my mistake early
