Default What is your speaker configuration?

Allright, I made this poll to get a feel for everyone's speaker configuration - how do you listen to (primarily) your blu-rays? What's your speaker setup? This poll probably exists somewhere but I couldn't track it down, sorry if that's the case. And I apologize in advance for missing any poll options.

Default 5.1 with attitude...

The main room is set up as a 5.1 I do not have the depth to do side and rear surrounds. I am currently using the 2 "extra" channels to run speakers out on my patio.
My Blu and Oppo are both on HDMI for movies
and the Oppo is also on analog for my SACD's
My receiver and speaker set up is listed below...
Rockin' out with Klipsch

7.2 with dual centres...

Since there was no option for 7.1 separates, I voted 7.1 receiver...

7.1 I think I was just as happy with 5.1 though.....

B&W 703 Fronts
B&W HTM7 Center
B&W 705 Rears
B&W DS7 Surrounds
Def Tech 14" reference sub

ALL ROSENUT BABY! (except the DS7's and sub obviously because I'm not about to find out what it would cost for a custom order )

My wife thinks it's out-of-control, and I'm using the time while she's gone for a couple hours with the baby, to watch ID4 at the volume it's intended to be watched!!!!!

Still rockin' that 37" 720p Aquos, with NO PLANS to upgrade for a long time!!!!!

I don't have HDMI audio yet though.... so that's a concern

(want those Thiels for the 2-channel still )

7.1 Since Year 2002 (was a Sony STR-DA 4ES). Now still using a STR-DA 7100ES bought 2 1/2 years ago (upgraded from the 5000ES)
With the power of Blu-ray now I can really enjoy the 7.1 channels config in all its glory!

I have 5.1 for now but I'm toying with the idea of going wall mounts for all 4 side and rear surrounds.

I have 7.1, but I use 4 subwoofers. I can also use presence speakers if I choose to.

Thiels? Audiogon is crying for you... beckoning - it keeps calling me man....
P.S. I'm still at 720p also and Lovin' it!!!! Just as the video folks hear no need to move up to better speakers - I see no reason to move up to 1080p!

Pixels on 720 and perfection on 1080

I'm somewhat embarresed to say that I currently listen to movies through my TV's speakers. [Is this where I go into defensive Bose owner mode? ;-)]

I've only got into AV recently, so most of my cash is tied up in my stereo system. But big upgrades in the AV department are planned for "real soon now"!
