My Receiver Upgrade

Hey all, currently I have a receiver that is so old it can only support Dolby Digital, DD Ex, etc. So I think it might be time to upgrade to be able to support the blu-ray audio formats.

I want something affordable and I noticed this was on sale: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...gon=&langid=EN
It supports all the major audio formats. I also need one that will be able to support my 5.1 set up. Is this a good purchase for compatibility with my 72MX196?

But this is not able to do PCM and I've noticed that I can't find many that can. Are there any receivers that can do Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD and PCM all together?

If it can handle all the major audio formats, it will be able to handle PCM. After all, when a receiver decodes Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD MA, it decodes them to PCM first and then performs digital to analog conversion.

Thanks, I always thought it did it but i was never 100% sure.
