Default Dynex TV Advise

Alright so here we go again.

Alright so I was looking at this Dynex TV because the price is low currently and its pretty much what I'm looking for. I can't afford too much higher of a price and can't really go bigger than that size (32"). I looked at a couple reviews and they all seem to say its a decent HDTV for the price. What is the general consensus on Dynex (and maybe this TV in particular)?

Thanks for your help again!
EDIT: I won't be able to look at this forum for a couple hours; I'll be back around 3-4 pm PST.

I'd spend $600, as opposed to $500, and get a much nicer television....

DYNEX aren't known for being very nice....

http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-LC32SB24...623637&sr=1-25

The Samsung 32" is $660, which I'd recommend.... but that Sharp is only $80 more than the one you're looking at and with no tax

i work at best buy customer service, dynex and insignia are the number one types of tvs that get returned. I would honestly suggest anything over them. or if you really like the price i extremely suggest the service plan.

Didn't we already go over this with you?? Look on Amazon and buy the 32" LCD that they have for $569 Panasonic TC-32LX85 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV.

This is the cheapest, and the best LCD TV you are going to get without having to buy junk. Plus you get free shipping

Along with Vizio at walmart....

Though I have a vizio hdtv, it was given free to me.

Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.

I love my Dynex, and it looks slick too.

I don't hold high expectations, obviously its no Pioneer Elite or Panny Viera but for the price its no let down.

Crackin, I love my Vizio 32", but the 42", movies are good and so are cartoons(not that I watch them), but regular TV sucks, its unviewable. Other then that it has never given me any issues, and seems to operate like a champ.

Yes, you have been through this with me, sorry. I just wanted to know really if Dynex was a good brand, like I said, the reviews for it were good (not great) so I figured it was a budget TV. I'll definitely consider the TV you suggested since its a brand I know and only $50 more.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Alright... I'm sold. Looks to be a great TV on my budget and my size. It appears to be great for gaming too, my main purpose second only to movies (Blu-ray included... obviously)

One last question though: Is the price likely to fluctuate much in the next few weeks? As in, is this a special sale or if I wait a bit may it go down? This purchase is kind of contingent on my next paycheck.

yeah you should see prices drop after thanksgiving but the tv that that guy was talking about (the one you seriously consider) seems to be a steal.
