Default Just got a Dynex DX-L32-10A

Anyone got one of these? It's a 32" 720P LCD, my wife and I just picked one up earlier today at BB for $299. I know, I know, it's a Dynex and there are a lot of mixed feelings about them, but we've been wanting a flat panel to put in our bedroom (replacing an old school big boy 32") for quite some time. For $299 I'm extremely pleased with it so far. They had it on display at BB running with a lot of the higher end 32"s, and I was impressed with how comparable it was in PQ. But, of course there's always a but, the one drawback I've found now that its home is that the sound is downright awful. Quite literally the worst I've heard from any TV I've owned. But for the price point thats acceptable, especially since the PQ is so damn good.

Anyway, does anyone have one that can give me some good custom settings to dial in the PQ even more? I'm no good with that kind of stuff but I'm open to recommendations.

Now I'm in the process of trying to decide how to mount it. We moved the old TV out and sat the Dynex on the stand for now, but I want to get rid of the bulky stand as well and have a sleeker look, plus free up some space, so I'm also open to suggestions on that as well; just remember its a bedroom setup, so looking at bargain prices. My wife suggested - and I do like this idea - using a tilt wall mount for it, then hanging a floating shelf elsewhere to sit the dvd player on. I like that idea better than buying some kind of combo wall mount.

Thoughts? Opinions?
