Hi all,
Finally fully in my HD world, and I'm trying to maximize my sound! I have a nice, Denon AVR-588 which luckily had HDMI inputs, I bought it because my poor old Denon that I spent about 3x as much on kicked it at the 6 year mark. Now, here I sit. I want to be able to enjoy my HDMI audio formats, and I'm not sure where to go. I spent under $400 on my receiver, and I want to do the same in this situation. It doesn't need to be "denon quality" but I don't want to downgrade from the sound quality that I have with my 588. I really want to go cheap as possible to enjoy good quality sound on my decent, slightly older Energy Encore speakers. I was looking at this: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...099881&catid=# Are there any other options from the Canucks in the forums? Any thoughts, greatly appreciated!! ![]() Nick |
