Default PS3 setup help (new to this)
Hi everyone I just got my first PS3 today, and WOW. I'm blown away by it. Ok anyway

I have the video setup to HDMI
My audio is setup to Optical digital (fiber optic cable, it's the best I got rihgt now)

My question is. 1. what kind of settings should I put it on (PS3) to get the MOST out of it wiht my current setup, I want as much Bass as possible from my theater system.(yes optical is the best I can do being that the current receiver I have optical is the best.)
and 2. how the heck do you turn off the system and put it in a stand-by type of mode wiht out turning off the on-off switch in the back of the unit.

Any and all hepl is greatly appreicated.

I wish I would have bought a PS3 a long time ago it beats any stand-alone player by a long shot -at least so far anyway.
