Default Another law of physics broken, DVD/BD hybrid disc announced
Yes, BD manufacturers have broken yet another law of physics and gone on to produce a dual layer single sided BD/DVD disc that works in Blu-ray players and lowly DVD players.

Not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing though, plus the discs are pretty expensive to produce and they are thought to be unreliable atm.

Quad layer versions are planned, BD50/DVD9 single side...
