Default Dali Sub?

I was at my Brother's Friend's (yeah degrees of separation!) and he had a subwoofer that blew mine away musically, and I'm thinking about adding it to the "stable" if you will...... Anyone have a Dali Euphonia AS 2 subwoofer? It doesn't get quite as low as other subs out there, but it'll do the trick for HT I'm sure, and It just has such a smooth and natural sound to it, you forget it's a subwoofer.

I'm researching my chances to pick one up, and I'll keep my eye on audiogon, but if anyone has one of these in their theater, or has compared it to other subs and finds any draw-backs I'm not seeing, I'd love the comments.

Spend the money on your house. How will you explain a new sub to the wife?

I haven't been able to sneak ANYTHING over to the house yet (need some help with the Foos table )

The hardwood floors have been oiled/waxed, the kitchen floor (pending replacement) has been cleaned, and the house looks presentable now (no more DISASTER areas) as I have moved the construction supplies to the basement (it's a two-part basement.... I moved it to the area I won't use, and will put the Foosball table in the other area)

It's all "clean" and ready to go now..... we just have to start moving stuff over there..... her caveat (I can't spell probably) is that the whole house be clean before the first Lamp/Table/Chair gets moved over there..... so after about 5 days of cleaning, I think we're (not that she helped) to that point!

First things to go over there will be spare-bedroom sets, foosball table, and of course, MY ELECTRONICS!!!!!

It's just a matter of time now, but I never made the riser for the seats, and I still need to order some new seats.........

Dali is a crazy Danish company that makes as many subwoofers as they make speakers. I have a suspicion that people in Denmark only drink, watch soccer, and make subwoofers in their spare time. Just kidding.

It will go nicely in-between your speakers and below your screen !!!!!!!!!! I thought about my matching sub but that much money on a sub plus I'm not a huge subwoofer kind of guy anymore. Maybe I'll get lucky down the road when it's time.

By the way there is a foam pad/holder thingy that goes on top of the sub so the center channel rest on it. I've only read great things about the Euphonia sub from owners. Also that sub is "big" & "heavy"!!!
