depends on what kind of movies you like, of course.

everyone's going to tell you something different. i think blade runner, 2001, casino royale, and the departed are must owns, aside from others.

I would say any of the Pixar movies are must own movies no matter what your movie preference is. I would also say Ironman as well as Tropic Thunder. The godfather trilogy is incredible, so long as you like that kind of movie.

Planet Earth the BBC version or Band of Brothers are both very excellent. I thought Cars was very good also.

I recommend POTC Dead Man's Chest and The Chronicles of Narnia. Outstanding PQ in any scale!

Welcome to Blu-ray.com!

Apocalypto is probably something you would appreciate, as entertainment and a top BD treatment.

Again, welcome on board.

Definitely one of these, as all are absolutely amazing:

Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 (they keep a perfectly refined layer of grain)
Wall*E (flawless)
Iron Man
Casino Royale

And for audio, look no further than the Band of Brothers box set.

Hope this helps. Welcome to the wonderful world of High Definition.

Casino Royale (new collector's version)
Dirty Harry Ultimate Collection
A Nightmare on Elm Street (Canada)

If you like classic films, it is hard to beat Fox's treatments of Planet of the Apes and Young Frankenstein.

You should get Casino Royale (hands down the best), Rambo (the last one looks amazing) and Wall-E. Each of this discs are now in my reference quality category.
