Does better build quality equal better video/audio?

I was looking at BRPs that cost 1-2 grand..And receivers in the 3 grand and up range..They all emphasis better construction, more elaborate internal design, bigger PS, and a lot of seperating the components.. Does this really increase the AQ and PQ? Theres a lot of anti vibration type structures..And Pioneers new FS BRP weighs 45 lbs..
