I purchased through Buy.com and got 2nd day Air. Will UPS require a signature?

Well it was a blu ray I ordered. I didnt know where else to post this and didnt want to spend hours on the phone with UPS.

OK, well how about some advice? Buy from Amazon from now on. The you'll be able to track your order and determine if a signature is required right from the Amazon website.

Better? I'm starting to feel jolly.

Okay he obviously asked a question because he doesn't know the answer... cut him some slack ya? Anyways I work at UPS and I can tell you that a signature is only required when the value of the shipment exceeds a certain amount which is about $200. So the answer is no

My UPS shipments always require a signature! I only order from Amazon and I have never spent $200 at one time!

just bought about 20 blus from amazon with 2nd day air and am getting small shipments as they become available, and they dont even ring my doorbell to delivermy boxes they just leave them on my steps, i have to guess when it is there. I really don't like UPS since they have lost one of my packages yesterday...

My UPS packages always require a signature. Pisses me off cuz on the rare occasion Amazon ships my pre-order early, it doesn't matter cuz my day off is Wednesday. Then yesterday I was in the crapper when they came to deliver Shawshank Redemption, so I had to wait until 9 pm to get it at the warehouse, and I was really looking forward to watching it yesterday.

If you're in an apartment, leave a sign on the door saying to deliver to the office. I did that yesturday with my Shawshank Redemption. Worked great!

Leave a note on the door that says "Porch OK" and sign it. They will leave it then.

On a somewhat related topic...
Did Amazon take the feature that tracks your package of their site? I can't find it and it was such a nice little tool to show: "Item shipped from location A; item checked in at location B" It was comforting.

Sorry if this is not the right thread but it was the closest thing to it and I wasn't sure if this required a new thread or not.

They still had that feature earlier this week when I was getting the X Files 2 pack.

They've changed the look of this portion of the sight a little recently.

After hitting Your Account, you should see yellow button on the left side of the screen labelled "View Recent or Open Orders". Hit that and you should be able to check the delivery and shipping status of your orders.

That's the right place... Do you not see a big orange "Track You Package" button there?...

And to the OP, I just bought something from Buy.com and was given a FedEX tracking number... Did you pull up your account and see if they gave you one as well?...
