Favorite Beta Experience - Blu-ray Forum

I was just curious about everyone's beta experiences. What has been your favorite one? I would definitely say mine is Killzone 2 (even though I have only been on for about 3 hours so far). It will be the best first person shooter of 2009.

Hmmm..I haven't had many...do I'd have to say Resistance 2.

LBP Beta...the mods where not actively killing the game yet so it was a GREAT time. (even though I didnt have my bluetooth yet, which would have only made it even more awesome).

Well for me, it would have to be the Resistance 2 beta. Just hours on end playing online on it.

Killzone 2 for me as well... even tho it froze on me nearly every few games, haha it was still awesome and I played for over 30 hours.

Killzone 2 by far then LBP followed closely by Resistance 2 and in last place SOCOM Confrontation.

LBP sold me on the game.
Resistance 2 sold me on not rushing to get the game.
HOME was a eye-opener that it was not for me.

socom and twisted metal were fun beta's back when the ps2 was about to release the network adapter.

there was also an awesome pc game i beta tested back in the day...i can't find it at all online, but it would email and call your house with clues. it was awesome

my favorite was test drive: unlimited for the ps2. the development team was really interactive with us and we had 2 months of beta time to really make the game better. plus as a bonus they put the top testers in the game as conputer controlled characters. i am in the game as Azzkker. the next best was socom 3.

Shadowrun. It was a lot of fun, great community. Many of the bots in the final game were named after beta members who beat the developers during the beta. I still play that game and have to watch the skill of the bots to see if I am playing with a bot or the real deal.
