Default "Fringe" - Favorite Opening/Favorite Episode (SPOILERS)

Hey everyone,

The title pretty much says it all. What's been your favorite opening in the Fringe episodes and your favorite all together episode? They don't have to be the same episode essentially.

Favorite Opening: Tie (Dreamscape - the killer butterflies that send the man through the window/Inner Child - freaked me out when they found that little kid/Unleashed - love creature features so this was no brainer)

Favorite Episode: Unleashed - besides being about a genetic monster and that's stuff I love. I really like how it brought out much more character in Walter, Charlie, and Peter. It had everything from good acting to scares to keeping the monster hidden for right amount of time. Plus, it was fun.

My favorite episode is probably The Arrival. This is the first time you learn anything about the Observers and really the first time you get clued in that there is alot more going on in the background of this show.

Favorite Episode start: A New Day in the Old Town - Olivia having a "delayed" car accident.

Yeah, "The Arrival" was great. The Observer really unnerved me that whole episode. Just his demeanor and all.

Wow - there's so many crazy scenes (these are all from S1 as I have not seen any of S2 yet):

1. The episode in S1 about the rapid aging - a woman just had a one night stand and by morning she's having contractions, by the time she gets to the hopsital, she's giving birth, by the time the doctors do a C section, the baby is already grown and the doctors totally freak out! The look of absolute horror on those doctors's faces was unforgettable, so crazy!

2. The animal rights college students who break in to the animal lab and one of the lab workers shows up - while getting into a verbal confrontation, the hybrid beast totally rips him apart from behind!

3. The employee at Massive Dynamic encounters one butterfly with sharp wings that cuts him as it flys by; suddenly a ton of butterflies charge at him, cutting him into pieces and in trying to fight them off, he tumbles out the window crashing to his death.

There's definitely more...

To the OP - just realized we had 2 of the same ones. I guess those were pretty unforgettable!

Haha I agree. Those two were great. The rapid-aging one was good to, but man, that grossed me out.

The butterfly scene had stupendous production value. The guy falling from the window felt so surreal.

Yeah, and to think it ended up being all in his head, his imagination, and his mind making it real!

Then later in that episode, where the guy slits his own throat, because his mind thinks John Scott is actually slitting his throat. That was nuts.

Those 3 are all my favorites. The other one I like is when they find the kid in the abandon building and he helps them find the serial killer. The thing that frustrated me about was none of them put 2 and 2 together and realized that this kid looked an awful lot like the Observer guy.

My favorite opening is from "The Transformation" . When the guy on the plane asks for sedatives after getting a nose bleed. He then went to the bathroom & turned into a beast of some sort.
