Default Report: PS3 to support 3D stereoscopic gaming in 2009

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/12/18/...aming-in-2009/

I like the idea of having games in true 3D, but couldn't Sony just spend the money on other things like beefing up the PSN or something?

I have to agree. I mean 3D games are awesome but I think that they could put the funding in other places.

I believe the R&D group works independently of other groups, so it's not like the funding would go to too much other stuff like PSN either way.

And I heard there were supposed to be stereoscopic displays and other tricks that don't require 3D glasses. That would be pretty darn cool.

I'm all for the quality > quantity thing that Sony has going on....it's great and all..

but I could really use a bit more of a selection...

of course, the more the catalog beefs up...the stingier I get with which game I want....

the way it stands now...I won't get a game until Killzone 2..
