ok I have a 32 inch polaroid LCD my question is why am I missing some of the side of the picture with all of my blu rays I have just noticed this through looking at screenshots on this site no matter what resolution I have it set to whether 720p or 1080 i or p still I am missing little parts of what should be there any suggestions?

Instead of resolution, sounds like overscan. Each set has their own nuances with overscan. Some/most have settings for that. If you have any Sony BD's or can get some test patterns you can see how much your sets has overscan. (To get to it on a Sony BD, at the menu hit "7669" then "Menu").
Try seeing if the set has a setting for "Unscaled" or "Pure" or something of that sort, and that should take care of it. Also make sure you're not zooming in or anything like that. |
