Default New To Site

Hello there, just thought I would introduce myself since I am a proud new owner of a ps3. I am not what you would call an avid gamer, but I do love my sports games: hockey, baseball, and football etc. Honestly though I'm more drawn to the blu-ray aspect that the ps3 brings. But, with the price where it is and the added function of being able to play games it only made sense. And with the ps3 there is always tons of support out there if I need it.

There's nothing about me that's interesting, but I'll admit that I do tend to get a little invested into what I own, and learning everything I can about Blu-ray is the next step after owning a player. I made a couple of choices on my first disks from reading some of the terrific reviews on this site, such as 3:10 To Yuma, which I enjoyed quite a bit. But it seems that the PQ was so good I might just be disappointed by future releases. Good thing I'm not incredibly fussy. I did pick up Master and Commander in a 10 dollar bargain bin at Zellers, which of course was the only good one in it. Beginner's luck maybe?

Amazon.com is now my new best friend.... I have picked up Band of Brothers, and a couple television shows I needed to catch up on. And with some of the continuous deals the site has it's a regular occurrence for me to be on there a few times a week.

That's a little about my experience with blu-ray so far, and I'm excited to see where it leads. I hope to learn as much as I can on this site. There is such a wealth of information and discussion that I could sit at my computer for hours, simply reading.

You won't see many questions from me because I know the search button is my best friend around any forum, but I'm not shy about adding my two cents worth or commenting on other's views. People deserve recognition for intelligent thoughts and I'm a very positive person.

There's just so much to read it's close to overwhelming, but I thought I'd introduce myself anyways.
