Default New to site!

Hello there just wanted to say I stumbled across this site about a week or so ago and have been hooked since! If you have any good recommendations for movies on Blu-Ray please let me know.

Right now I have:

A Scanner Darkly(13 bucks today used can't beat that!)
Casino Royale
Superman Returns
Talladega Nights(launch PS3 version)
Underworld Evolution

I also just picked up the PS3 remote today, it is a nice piece of equipment.

Welcome. I would pick up pirates 1 & 2, Layer Cake, The Departed and a war movie (pearl harbor, we were soldiers) and the transporters are good.

I wonder, which copy they used for the BD? I had a copy of the extended cut, on DVD, and then traded it for a Superbit version that seemed to be longer. I hope it's similar to the Superbit version.

the above mentioned plus... Letters from Iwo Jima, The Descent, Goodfellas, Kingdom of Heaven ( Directors Cut ) and BEERFEST - juvenile but hilarious

wooo some really good food for thought here I actually have a pretty decent DVD library, roughly 200+. Just now getting into the HD movies. Trying to pick up movies I think I would appreciate in high def rather than buy everything I already own over again.

Personally I wouldn't get rid of DVDs just because of Blu.

Its the extended cut and blows away the superbit for both P/Q and PCM audio.
