Default bluray in australia

just wondering can i buy bluray movies through the link here witch is amazon.com and be able to watch on my ps3 in australia just worried about formats and regions as they are heaps cheaper then in australia thankyou

You can buy through Amazon and use them on your PS3, provided the movies are region free. There are plenty of sites which will tell you which movies are region locked, but in general anything from Paramount, Warner and Universal are region free (there are a few exceptions). Anything from Fox is mostly locked. Sony and Disney are a mixed bag.

With the fall of the Aussie dollar in recent months though, the prices from Amazon are only slightly better than local prices when you add freight costs to the price. Local retailers like JB Hi Fi are becoming more competitve. So its something to think about.

Yes you can play BRD that are region free just keep an eye out for the description when buying from Amazon, anyways heres a link that should help out:
