Movie studios vs. distributors - Blu-ray Forum

Well there is something I don't understand, with all this talk about exclusive studios and so on.

"The Prestige" is a Buena Vista and for what I know they are a part of Disney who are Blu-ray exclusive.

Well I just spoke to a Danish dealer, and they told me "The Prestige" is also comming to HD-DVD because the Movie is distributed by Warner.

I don't hope any other of the BD exclusive studios, uses format war "neutral" distributors. Or am I missing out on some information??

Films are distributed by different studios in different parts of the world. In North America "The Prestige" is distibuted by Disney. I guess "The Prestige" is distributed by WB over there.
