I still have noticed that the major movie studios still suck especially with coming out with movies on blu-ray. Companies like Sony, Walt Disney, Starz, and MGM are making it hard for me to believe that blu-ray will be able to survive mostly because these companies don't care about blu-ray surviving. Sony still hasn't been able to come out with decent titles on blu-ray and enough of them on blu-ray. The same applies to the other major studios as well. In conclusion unless all the major movie studios decides to get their act together fast and start producing more titles on blu-ray, I believe that blu-ray will die a slow and painful death.

Movies are coming at a good pace, you will eventually see most everything you are looking for on a Blu-ray disc. Remember, you couldn't find every movie you ever wanted on DVD at this point...

True but still you would expect that the movie studios would be coming out with more titles on blu-ray, mostly titles that are currently on DVD.

Its still an expensive process for alot of movies. As far as catalog titles go, you have to figure who owns the rights and if they are willing to invest enough to put out a release.

Most of my friends still dont have a blu-ray player and until that changes, we will still be the happy minority.

WOW!!! Looks to me like there are a lot of titles being released. Just this week I picked up The Graduate, Dr. Strangelove and Ghostbusters. Just because they're not titles you would want to own doesn't mean that Blu-ray is dying. The studios have to appeal to every taste not just yours.

Oh yea, I still need to get Spaceballs. That's more in one week then I've bought in the last 2 months.
