Default Need help with picture quality for ps3

Right now I have my ps3 hooked up to a 42inch HDTV using HD cables at 720p the graphics look amazing and uncharted is so colorful. When I move the ps3 into my room with my 32inch HDTV using HDMI at 720p the graphics are not as good and uncharted looks dead and dull any way to fix this? Also I plan on buying a 1080p TV soon will the graphics still look dead and dull?

I know on my TV, each input has it's own AV settings (sport, cinema, game etc...) When I watch blu-ray, I use sport, when I'm gaming, I use Game

Go here, find your TV and try those settings. Typically they're pretty close. Out of the box settings are rarely anywhere close to correct.

yep... do what other people said.

calibrating a TV makes a HUGEEE difference. turn off any Digital Noise Reduction that your TV might have turned on by default as well, DNR adds wayyyy too much crap to the picture
