It seems the world of the Blue LASER has gone comatose. One would like to think all the companies are busy beavering away to bring us our new toys, however it’s strange that everyone seems to have gone quiet.

There was talk late last year that the Blu Ray camp would finalise their Read Only format early this year. Well I think we can safely say that early this year has come and gone. One would think this is a critical stage of development and the longer this is delayed, the longer the release dates.

Is this the calm before the storm, and surprise is the best form of attack? Are there problems slowing things down? Does anyone have any inside knowledge?
