Default clouding all of the sudden?

I have a samsung ln46a550 an "S" model....it looked great but I noticed that there were some very faint flashlights in the corners...not bad at all, but I read on here that loosening the screws might help this effect. Sure enough it appears to have made it worse and now I see clouding for the first time in the upper right hand corner of my screen! F$##$ what gives? Could this have happened because of the loosening of the screws?

All you had to do was turn the backlight down and that would have solved the problem. Never loosen up the screws or anything on the tv itself. You might have made things worse. I hope not but that now may be the case.
