What ever happened to Taxi Driver, not there on 2/3 - Blu-ray Forum

I did not hear anything about delays and all. I know it was supposed to be this week. Anyone out there have any info?

I would say it was delayed indefinitely, but the studio never formally announced it.

Sony was nonplussed about the sales of Close Encounters, and has since been holding back on many of its great catalog titles.

I thought (and I could be wrong) that I saw a thread a while back is which the discussion was about how this was once again delayed although it was never officially announced.

Basically... I have no idea what the hell is going on here.

You can't delay something that was never officially announced. We're still waiting for an official announcement on Taxi Driver...it was only rumored, the Feb 3 date was never confirmed.

Are we seriously still dealing with the fallout from Close Encounters' poor showing? I remember Paid or Penton mentioning that a full year ago. Dangit.
