Default Dish TV networking multiple receivers to share hard drive

Does anyone on here know if you can have multiple DVRs (like the 722), record to a common Hard Drive (Lacie Gigabit Ethernet external hard drive) that is connected to a router and Ethernet hub? The point would be to record lots of movies on Dish, and watch them back using any of the receivers, not just the receiver that was used to record the program.

While that sounds nice, I don't think it is possible. Dish receivers network capabilities are limited to basic account information, updates, and on-demand transactions. They are not capable of streaming audio or video over the network.
