Unhappy audio reversed

bought prince caspian and when i tried to play it the rear sound was louder than any of the movie and the dialogue was real low so i'm guessing the track recorded backwards/reversed i'm gonna return it for another copy.first disc i ever noticed do this.

You sure your sound is calibrated properly? I can't imagine one disc having a different mix than all the others...

That's what I was thinking too. Check the connections on your speakers and make sure they're in the right slots.

But in that thread they were complaining about a hissing crackling sound and just the center speaker was low.

However, that does bring up a good point. Pioneer recievers seem to be having issues with certain Blu-ray's and it appears Prince Caspian is one of them.

I have the same problem with the Caspian disc. Two BD players (Sony BDP-S350 and Samsung BD-UP5000) with current firmware. Have spoken to Sony, Samsung, Disney and Pioneer. No resolution (nobody cares about one disc). All other DTSHD discs (including 7.1) play just fine. Only common thread seems to be the Pioneer Elite receiver VSX94THX.
