The Secret Life of Bees - Blu-ray Forum

I just saw the dvd and it had a strong image. The user reviews though are kind of negative so I was hoping people might know about how the bluray looks...

Anyways this movie is fantastic. Give it a chance if you like Dakota (I thought it was way better than Coraline or Hounddog) or just want to see a good movie =).

I thought it was a very strong movie myself. Can't remember much about it at the moment but I would definitely recommend it to others who want to see a movie about female bonding and perservering through hardship.

This movie was awesome. Definitely gets heavy in parts too.

It's kind of about race but not in a pretentious or overbearing way but it's also about Dakota's character and how her mom's death (really f-uped accident) when she was young affected her and her dad's life.

It might sound drama llama but it's a lot better than it sounds

.

It's kind of amazing how good of an actress Queen Latifah has become.
