I just bought a PS 3 yesterday so I could watch Blue Ray movies. When I went to watch the movie last night, the video played like it was being fast forwarded slowly but the audio was fine. I've seen the movie in the theaters so I know it isn't supposed to be like how it is.
It happened all throughout the movie. The firmware is updated. Any help would be great. Thanks |

Can you describe more precisely what you mean by 'like it was being fast forwarded slowly but the audio was fine'?
The PS3 is able to play at 1.5x speed. And it will speed up the audio without changing its pitch to play at 1.5x along with the video. If that's what you mean by this, then there may be nothing wrong with your PS3. You just hit a button you didn't realize. Specifically, the R2 trigger that the controller actually rests upon when you put it down. One of your PS3 controllers may have been sitting or was bumped such that R2 was pushed in. |
