Default Bad game disc??

Is it possible i got a bad disc of NFS Carbon? When i first got it i could play it for hours. But sometime after xmas it satarted dropping the connection after bout 10-15min. I double checked my router and modem settings and it's fine. Also there was a PS3 update not long before this. This all satarted january 07. I just recently wanted to play it again online. I've even tried on a different PS3 and also used my system on a different internet connection. Still does it. Does anyone know if your game ranking is saved on the servers? If so i'll try fully removing all data. I'd rather not try to get to lvl 67 all over again. Btw i tried that different PS3 and connection just a few days ago. It sucks playing for minutes at a time. Thank you all in advance.

Which game are you playing? If it has online rankings, it's likely that the stats are saved on a server so deleting the data won't make you lose...whatever it is you're getting. Let us know what game to make sure though.

No. All my other games work pefect. I'd blame the EA servers but my other friends on psn say they don't have this issue. So i'm freaking confused.
