Default Will you see Wolverine in the theater opening week?

Our booker has booked Wolverine on 2 of our 6 screens. I think he's nuts but he say's it's tracking very well. I told him I didn't think there's that much interest in seeing it - especially since it was leaked online. He said it's only been downloaded about 70,000 times which won't make a huge dent in business... (really, only 70,000?).

So, will you see Wolverine in the theater opening week?

I'll probably see it in the theater, but I don't know if it will be opening weekend or not.

I don't plan to anymore. That 70,000 download stat though may be misleading, people could download 1 copy and burn it for say... 5 friends.

Regardless it'll be enjoyable, but I don't plan on it.

I saw the workprint but I will be seeing it. It's my friend's B-Day and a few of us guys are going to see it Friday night. Plus I would like to see the finished product with all the VFX done.

not very many movies that would get my butt into a theater chair anymore. the whole movie theater experience sucks. this will be no exception.

Nope. I saw the workprint and it honestly had nothing in it for me. I wasn't excited for it when it was announced or when the trailers started, so the workprint just sealed the deal for me.

it is a movie I am interested in, and the plan is to see it in the theatres but not sure if it will be opening week, I tend to like to wait a bit when it is not that crowded.

No. I'd rather watch X-Men 3.

i'll be there opening day. it's wolverine. of course i'll be there opening. this is going to be huge. wolverine looks to kick butt. definitely one of the better comic book characters. and the movie version is done pitch perfect. hugh jackmen and his portrayal of wolverine blows every other comic book movie out of the water (aside from magneto). bale doesn't even hold a candle to hugh. i've been looking forward to this since last year. so of course i'll be there.

Absolutely, first event movie of the summer! May is so jammed pack this year. After that only a few event pics left like Potter and Transformers 2. I wonder which film will be this years Speed Racer? So far all of May's offerings look like hits.

Will I be paying cold hard cash to watch this abortion after having already viewed the workprint, which, reportedly, is exactly the same as the finished cut?
