Default I need some help with PS3 and LCD TV Question.

I have a Westinghouse 47" LCD HDTV Model # TX-47F430S.
Says it can accept 1080p/24Hz Signal.

On my PS3 I have the 24Hz option set to Automatic. When I put a Blu-ray movie on I get sound but no picture.

When I turn this option in the PS3 off I get Picture.

Any idea why it will not work with the 24Hz option on?

(Update 08-21-07) Despite handling the Sencore's 1080p/24 signal, when we hooked up the Samsung BD-P1200 Blu-ray player to test its 1080p/24 output with the Westinghouse, we weren't able to activate it. The option was grayed-out in the Samsung's menu. We expect other 1080p/24 sources will have similar difficulty interfacing with the Westinghouse.
..."accepting" a 24Hz signal, and actually natively displaying it can be two different beasts.

Also, Westinghouse has a notorious track record with compatibility with other hdmi devices, most notably the PS3.

All in all, id say turn "off" 1080p/24Hz and just enjoy.
