Default DVD audio question?

Just put in Bon Jonvi Lost Highway DVD, I always listen to my concert DVDs and my 1 Blu concert in 5.1ch audio. Bon Jovi started in 2ch(PCM) switched it over to DD5.1, had to go back to the 2ch. 5.1 was terrible. The 2ch is great, excellent.

Anyone have this incident with Blu-ray concerts?

Looking to get Diana Krall, Police, and a few others. If the 2ch is the best on any Blu I will just get the DVDs. Not buying concerts for video anyway, David Gilmour's PQ was not good at all, but who cares?

I've not had any issues with my Concert BD's when played in either 2.0 or 5.0 (don't have a subwoofer yet). I will admit that oftentimes I listen to them in 2-channel only, as I prefer it that way.

I haven,t to date ever played with the 2 channel sound on my concerts BD,s,
I have had to use the regular SS, instead of the HD selections
on a friends setup who uses the optical setup due to his receiver.
