Default New Plasma: Panasonic or Samsung?

In a couple of months, I`m going to buy a new Plasma.
I know that Pioneer are the best, but I can`t find it in my country.
Please, recommend me the best models for Panasonic and Samsung for $2.000/$2.500.
Which one is better, Panasonic or Samsung?
Thanks!!

Most people are going to tell you Panasonic, and from what I know I will say the same thing. In this case go with what you think is the best for you. Size, Contrast Ratio, additional settings. I like both companies and you won't go wrong with either one.

Default Panasonic

The new Panasonic's look promising and a review is made for the G10 model I believe, its superb from what I hear. If you can't wait for the new models, just go with the 800u model which should be at a great price. Samsung's Plasma's, while give great for your money, Panasonic's are generally better in the plasma department.

Which one is the best for that price?
I`m looking to buy a 50 i.

From what I've been told and what I've seen as I was shopping a few months back, for my TV, go with the Panasonic as far as Plasma is concerned.

Right now I'd suggest G10. All the reviews are very positive. If you wait till summer then V10 or Z1 will be out and the Z1 is only 1 inch thick.

Sorry to tell you this, but it's not possible for the motion resolution of your Sammy to surpass a plasma, and the new line of Panny's all display 1080 lines of resolution during motion which your TV doesn't come close to doing. With that said, your gaming experience is not any better than it would be for the TV's the OP are interested in. Even though the A650 is a terrific TV it's still not quite up to par with plasmas in question. My suggestion to the OP is to go with the 50" G10 if you can because recent reviews have revealed that it is the best TV next to the Kuro you will find. Check out HD Guru's review HERE.

I own the g10, have had it for about a month now. this thing is amazing, PQ is incredible, blacks are super inky, color is stunning, and it does an excellent job of cutting out light glare. IM0 The best set in it's price range period. but this is just my opinion. hope this is helpfull. oh and i saw someone wrote about panny's and other plasma's not doing so well with motion in video games, this set has a 600hrz subfeild refresh rate, i don't think there's an lcd that can touch this, besides all plasma's in general refresh at a much higher rate than lcd's. i play ps3 game's all the time, really look's amazing, if you are a gamer you should try KillZone 2 WOW.

Sounds very convincing. As soon as I get my credit rating up and going, I'm buying the new Panny thats supposed to come out this summer All I have now is my 32" Sharp Aquos (LC-32D62U). I like it but it doesn't compare to the best brands.

Default Panasonic V10 Series l TC-P50V10

Hello

The Panasonic TC-P50V10 along with the TC-P50G10, should be on this list; at least I think so. It's availability is listed as either May 2009 or June 2009, depending on press releases, making it possibly only a few weeks away.

Unless you include the TC-P54Z1, coming in late summer, these two displays seem easy front runners for consideration.

Thank You
