Default Please help with Sony Str-dg810

Hi guys. I use the above reciever. After reading some of the threads on here I decided to tweak my crossover frequency, because I didnt like how the auto callibrate sounded. When I cancelled the saved calibrate and changed the crossover frequency from 100 to 80 and 90 (still listening between the two) the reciever put all my speakers and sub at a 0 level. Is 0 considered referance? It had been so long since I had played with the settings, I honestly dont remember the level I had them at. It lets you choose from -10 to +10. Where do you all have yours set at? Is there an ideal setting for a smaller room, I know its mainly subjective, just want some thoughts on what others are doing.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

0 means that there are no adjustments to the soundstage, when you auto calibrate what it does is adjust to the listening position you set the microphone at so it may need to adjust the dB level 1 on your right front to match the left front in terms of where you are sitting, so on and so on. Speakers set to small, crossover @ 70-90 you should be fine
