Default How much will Transformers 2 make in it's opening 5 days?

I did a search and the last thread with a poll got closed (it was made a bit early). So will Transformers Revenge of the Fallen break records in it's first 5 days? The Dark Knight had $203 million in it's first 5 days. It opened on a Friday whereas this one is opening on a Wednesday.

How will it do? Ante up!

Thumbs up

$180-$190 million, it's going to be pulling in huge numbers since it's the most anticipated movie of the year to date.

For some reason, $178 mil just popped into my head, so there we go.

I know I am going at least twice this week.

I will guess $170 million over the five days. It is going to be a fun ride.

$150M to $170M Revenues are up this year but attendance is down . It goes over $150 by merit of it's being the most anticipated film of the summer in many circles, but raising ticket prices in a dour looking economy as was done across much of the country in the past 12 months has not yet made sense to me yet.

The writers strike has had an impact on Summer movies this year too. With the exception of Star Trek, I haven't seen anything resembling the hits that were released week after week as was done in 2008. Movies this start out hyped but have been crushed by bad reviews or viewer experiences. The Hangover totally capitalized by not being marketed over the top and being genuinely funny, but I didn't think I was going to have as big a laugh at the end of Terminator Salvation as I did. I thought that was supposed to be a serious themed flick.
