Default Any news on Catwoman or Elektra?

Any news on them? they would be the purrrrfect addition to my collection
(NOTE: even if you did not find my pur joke funny please laugh anyway my feelings would be hurt if you replied with a nasty comment about how it was lame)

Thanks,
Kor-ray

I never did see Catwoman. I wouldn't mind having Elektra, though, if the price was right. But I haven't heard any news of release dates.

Well, sorry but I don't even want to see 'Mickey Mouse',
eh... I mean 'Catwoman', because of the phailure of a costume.
I probably will... ever... apparently it's terrible but I'll keep my judgement at bay for a while.

Elektra, however, I love, and apparently it's indeed not coming to BD as of yet.
I'm sure it wouldn't take too long.

You know, I would love to see it in like some kind of special box with 'Daredevil'.
I'm not too crazy about the plain "Director's Cut"-release of 'Daredevil'.
It would be great if it was put in some kind of special box (not a "value-pack") with 'Elektra'.

As far as bashing movies goes, I do like 'Elektra', probably even more so than 'Daredevil'.
I would love to see a whole "franchise" with Jennifer Garner, if not just one or two movies.
Even if it was like "just an average spin-off", which unfortunately decreases chances, I thought it was GOOD.
And I sure hope the BD-release will be a nice one.
Then again, they probably see it as a "minor film" to pay too much attention too,
which is probably another reason for its current absence.

i think we will see it eventuall; although it flopped ... FOX did put out two versions on DVD and I think interest on home video was modest.

I really liked Elektra a lot. And I can't wait to see it on blu (theatrical or Extended, doesn't matter) <---- Hopefully both though, unlike Daredevil but that director's cut actually changes the entire film.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what is actually in that half hour extra in 'Daredevil'.
'Elektra' only has like 1-3 minutes extra or something. :S
Barely have a doubt they'll just include both versions on the same disc.
Well, 'Daredevil' is already out as a Director's Cut, but yeah...
I guess that's just the plain Director's Cut without branching or anything?
Just wondering...

I love the Director's Cut (as most people do as well), but I don't like the fact
that we didn't get an option. There are countless of Elektra/Daredevil scenes that were cut out on the Director's Cut. And the sub-plot changes the entire film, in my opinion. Same movie but two different cuts, it makes a HUGE difference.

Yeah, I read that it changes or adds a whole lot in 'Daredevil'.
And, while I like the movie more than the average movie-goer, I felt it was a bit thin.
So I bet I'd like it a lot more when it's around 2 hours too.

I really hope they will make a lot more use of BD-features soon, they should.
There is still a little time, as the BD is still not the default media in households.
But if they don't start now, it won't be on most of these earlier releases.
It's slowly moving forward though...

They actually couldn't do seamless branching with this one. the movie didn't have just added scenes deleted scenes etc... It was COMPLETELY recut and rebuilt, diferent scenes were added and many times in different order. No physical way to do seamless branching, only way they could have done it was with 2 separate encodes.
