Where did you see this?... I checked Waypoint and Xbox.com and I don't see anything... I even tried playing a game online and can't even connect...

EDIT: I just read something on Xbox.com about this... They're sending out emails with a 400 point code and extending everyones Live by 3 months as compensation for discontinuing support for all Xbox original games... I'm not reading anything about having to play Halo 2 though...

Looks like it from the email they're sending out...

"Xbox v1 LIVE service to be discontinued from Originals games. As a valued LIVE member, enjoy 400 free MS points and 3 free months of Xbox LIVE Gold. Here is your points token *****-*****-*****-*****-*****. Free months directly added to your account."

I never received one either... According to Xbox support it was suppose to be for everyone, but we know how knowledgeable they are...

I never got any kind of e-mail so I guess this wasn't for everyone afterall. I sent them an e-mail about a week ago, but never got a response.
