Default 1080i is all I can get
Hi People
I just got my BDPs1 back from service... Stuck disk

Sony ended up getting me a new one

Anyway, I was running the rocketfish hdmi's

my 1st connection is from the Blu to my Sony STR DG900 , then output from the Receiver to my DLP.. I have the 72" Toshiba with 1080p compatability..

I read somewhere that not all HDMI's were able to process 1080p/24 so I bought the high end cables (2) .. NO Luck

When I manual change the output during a movie from 1080i to 1080p , my TV goes blank and the sound intermittantly cuts out.. anyone have this same problem?

I went through my TV parameters and there is nothing to force a 1080p that I can see..

Any ideas?
