Default Panasonic: 'Blu-ray will win, be certain'

Panasonic has made clear its stance in the high-definition war. "Blu-Ray will succeed to become the predominant high-definition format, be certain," Joachim Reinhart, chief operating officer and president of Panasonic Europe, told journalists at a press conference at IFA 2007 in Berlin this afternoon.

It would start to eliminate a lot of choice if they hated all the major IP owners in Blu-ray.

"Thank goodness Venturer is out there"

It would mean something if it was coming from a big and successful CE that sells a lot of HDTV.

Oh wait ...

Yes, but to say something so assuredly is showing how confident they are in the format and gives people supporting Blu-ray some assurance that it will not fall-out with some of the latest developments with HD-DVD (i.e. Paramount).

Thanks. I thought it was time for one. CE3K is one of my favorite all-time films, it has as a nice blu motif, and is my homage to Mr. Spielberg.
