I see this as a good thing....

Lets think about this, what other studio delayed all its future titles by months to only then jump to one side? Para..yea i wont even say there name, but they did that so I'm thinking with everything that WB has said the last two days, we will be seeing them switch to BLU. The delay is to remaster the film to BLU specs.

This is only my opinion so who really knows.

I don't know I just ad a feeling that this one would be delayed because when it was announced it seemed like it came out of nowhere and was going to be out soon.

I wasn't around the time Paramount turn Judas on us, but did they cancel release dates and moved them back before canceling them all together?

Did they do the same to the HD DVD release or they just move back our release?

No Question about it. Pun intended.

By that logic though, shouldn't fox have jumped sides already?

Its a bummer that's delayed, I've always loved that movie.

I will miss this movie. One of my favorites, but I hope they do a nice clean distro of it. I could see the CGI tornadoes in the movie and it would be even worse on Blu.

This is probably a good thing

Speaking of this movie, anyone remember when they were in the truck and all the farm equipment started flying in the road just before they went through the house? Remember how the "crane" thing hit and broke their windshield and then the next scene their windshield is perfectly fine? Lol.

Thought that was funny.

And I have to ask:
Does anybody really WANT "Twister", or did studios/fans just get sentimental for those 1997 days when Twister was the symbol of that newfangled DVD theater format, and buying it was the birth-of-DVD equivalent of buying "300" on Blu?

...If we get "Lethal Weapon 4" and "Lost in Space" announced next, something's definitely up.

You serious? Twister was the best film out during the time. Did you even see it in theatres?

I saw it in a tiny little theater and the theater people decided it would be funny to turn the A/C fans to max every time a twister was around

I'm sad to see Twister delayed.

Hmm.

Warner is at the BLU Fest thing. They are watching Q4 results. Twister was due out at the beginning of a new year. Now it's coming a little later in "hot-rod" format.

Could Warner make a movie to all BLU starting 2008?
